Green cards & permanent residence
Green cards and permanent residence in the United States are available through several paths, including family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, and the Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery program. We assist with the paperwork and application process for each.
Family-based immigration
Family-based immigration allows a person to enter or live in the United States based on their relationship with a relative who is a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (LPR).
There are two main types of family-based immigration:
- Immediate relatives of U.S. citizens – Spouses, unmarried children under 21, and parents of U.S. citizens (subject to age and other requirements).
- Family preference immigrants – Other family relationships (e.g., unmarried adult children, married children, siblings) fall into preference categories with annual limits and waiting periods.

Employment-based immigration
This category is for individuals who are offered a permanent job in the U.S., as well as certain investors and individuals with exceptional abilities or advanced degrees.

DV Lottery Program
The Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery program is available to individuals from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the United States. Approximately 50,000 diversity visas are made available each year through this program.
Eligibility is determined by your country of birth and meeting education or work experience requirements. If selected, you must complete the application process within the designated period.
